Welcome to Julie Turner Stage Academy

The Stage Academy offers classes in all aspects of stage dance.

We have 2 studios, both mirrored with Harlequin floor coverings, ballet barres and changing rooms.

Our emphasis is on fun whilst learning in a happy, caring environment. Pupils are entered for A.A.D syllabus exams as well as medal tests. Festivals and other competition work is available should you wish to take part.

The school is a member school of the A.A.D (Associaton of American Dancing) and holds The  Recognised school status. All our teachers are CRB checked & licensed chaperones with Rotherham Borough Council.

The school opened in 1987, under the name "Happy Feet" working out of local church halls. On moving into Studio 32 we became Julie Turner Stage Academy.

To our core subjects we now offer singing, musical theatre and streetcheer as well as open classes in tap, lyrical & ballet. Our new baby ballet classes are a fun class for mums and toddlers to join in together.Class prices from £3.50-£4.50.
PRIVATE LESSONS are available for grade work & festivals at very competative prices.....details on request.
Students have danced at Disneyland Paris,Her Majesties London,Collessium London,Sadlers Wells London.Opera Houses Blackpool and Buxton.
Students have gone on to study at Laine Theatre Arts,London Studio Centre,SLP College Leeeds As well as securing positions in Disneyland as dancers.
We pride on offering lots of different styles of dance and opportunities to pupils of all ages and at prices parents can afford and making dreams come true for promising pupils.
